釋作意所緣中，自下第三通辨。文有其七：一、修作意所由；二、四緣入等至；三、四無記根；四、味淨定等差別；五、四分定異；六、次第超越入出；七、熏修差別。

Within the explanation of the objects of mental application, the third section below explains them comprehensively. The text contains seven points: first, the reason for cultivating mental application; second, entering meditative absorption through the four conditions; third, the four unassociated indeterminate roots; fourth, distinctions such as attachment to absorption and pure meditative absorption; fifth, differences among the four divisions of meditative absorption; sixth, sequential and skipping entry and emergence; seventh, distinctions of perfuming and cultivating.
