釋作意所緣中，自下第三通辨，文有其七：一、修作意所由；二、四緣入等至；三、四得定者；四、味淨定等差別；五、四分定異；六、次第超越入出；七、重修差別。

In explaining the objects of mental application, the third section below provides a general analysis, with seven parts in the text: 1. the reasons for cultivating mental application; 2. entering meditative attainments through four conditions; 3. the four types of persons who attain meditative concentration; 4. distinctions such as savoring versus pure concentration; 5. distinctions among the four divisions of concentration; 6. sequential and transcendent entry and emergence; 7. distinctions in repeated cultivation.
