九、二得者，在佛及麟角身中，八皆離欲得故；在餘身中皆加行得，要離彼地染後方修得故。
Ninth, the two attainments: in the bodies of Buddhas and rhinoceros-like [pratyekabuddhas], all eight are attained through detachment from desire; in other bodies, they are all attained through preparatory exertion, because one must abandon the defilement of that stage before cultivating and attaining them.
