Regarding "due to revulsion and disillusionment, overpowered by majestic force [...] so that perception can exist": this means that undefiled concentration repeatedly contemplates revulsion and disillusionment, so that regarding the eye and so forth there is no perception of concrete facts, and only the marks of the principles of the four truths arise. Regarding "not receiving non-perception": both perception and non-perception are not received at all. Because one does not conceptualize any marks whatsoever, perceptions of both existence and emptiness are not received at all; therefore, within the principle of true suchness of cessation, one contemplates tranquility. What is meant here is that being free from all perceptions of marks is called non-perception; when non-conceptual wisdom directly realizes suchness, the preceding marks of suffering, pleasure, and so forth are also all departed from, and perception and non-perception are all transcended; therefore, freedom from perceptions of marks is called non-perception.
