「有七法諍事止息」，即七滅諍法：一、現前毘尼；二、憶念毘尼；三、不癡毘尼；四、自言持毘尼；五、不見罪相毘尼；六、多不見罪相；七、如草布地。即如次配下七種違犯諍事。

Regarding 'there are seven dharmas that settle disputes': these are the seven rules for settling disputes (adhikaraṇa-śamatha): first, presence-vinaya; second, recollection-vinaya; third, non-delusion-vinaya; fourth, self-acknowledgment-vinaya; fifth, non-perception of fault-vinaya; sixth, majority non-perception of fault; seventh, covering over with grass. These correspond respectively to the seven kinds of dispute concerning offenses below.
