「過去過去殊勝」等者，近過去名過去，遠過去名殊勝，未來亦爾。現在長時名現在，剎那名殊勝。

Regarding "the past, the superior past," and so forth: the recent past is called "past," while the distant past is called "superior"; the same applies to the future. In the present, a long duration is called "present," while a single kṣaṇa is called "superior".
