"Five kinds of wrong conduct": first, giving rise to anger toward enemies; second, causing disruption among relatives; third, constantly desiring to produce grief and suffering, doing non-beneficial things; fourth, destroying one's own śīla; fifth, engaging in the three evil actions. "Among these, three kinds of faults of outflow": because of anger at enemies, one has many adversaries; because of disrupting relatives, friends become estranged; because of doing unbeneficial things and causing suffering, various griefs and sufferings constantly manifest. These three are the concordant results in future lives. "One kind of fault of outflow in the present life": because of destroying one's own morality, one has much regret at the time of death. "One kind of fault of maturation in a future life": because of engaging in the three evil actions, one later falls into the evil destinies.
