From "Furthermore, the perception of impurity has, in brief, two kinds" downward is the second [section], resolving difficulties following on the preceding [text]. Within it, there are three parts: first, explaining the initial perception of impurity for the householder; next, explaining the perception of suffering cultivated with respect to impermanence by the one who has left the household life; third, explaining the cultivation of the perception of light in secluded dwelling. "Deliberation" means correct reflection. "Cultivation" means initiating the practice. Within the perception of impurity, there are three [parts]: first, listing the two forces; next, clarifying the two obstacles; and last, clarifying that eliminating these, the pure dharmas capable of curing them, are of great benefit.
