「顯示修習若別若總，隨其所應」者，釋上純雜而修習義。別修三學名純，總修三學名雜。

'Revealing the cultivation, whether separate or combined, according to what is appropriate': this explains the meaning above of cultivating in a pure or mixed manner. Cultivating the three trainings separately is called pure; cultivating the three trainings combined is called mixed.
