第二段思擇所知中，文分為三：初總問答體；次別略問答體；後隨別釋，分為三，初釋有法、次釋無法、後雙辨二。有法有二：初標五門、後隨別釋。

In the second section, on reflecting upon the knowable, the text is divided into three: first, a general question and answer on the substance; second, an abridged question and answer on the specific substance; third, individual explanations in turn, which are divided into three: first, explaining real phenomena (sat); second, explaining unreal phenomena (asat); third, jointly analyzing both. Real phenomena has two parts: first, marking out the five gates; second, explaining them individually in turn.
