第五段文中分有二：初釋上三句、次釋第四句。釋初文中，初以八種觀，觀諸有情業業果報；後釋第四句。初中復二：初別明八觀；後「如是戒善男子」下，結為四行：初行、第二行如次各攝三，第三、第四行如次各攝一。

The text of the fifth section is divided into two: first, it explains the first three lines; next, it explains the fourth line. In explaining the first text: first, by means of eight kinds of contemplation, it contemplates the karma and karmic retributions of sentient beings; afterwards, it explains the fourth line. The first part also has two: first, it specifically elucidates the eight contemplations; afterwards, from "Such a good son of moral conduct" onward, it concludes into four practices: the first and second practices each subsume three in due order, and the third and fourth practices each subsume one in due order.
