7.78

第五段有五頌中分二：初四異生、後一聖者。聖者具見佛之法化，故名法見。其異生中，初一、欲貪邪分別者；第二、天眼不定者；第三、肉眼不定者；第四、內外俱障，都不能見。《金剛般若》云：若以色見我，以音聲尋我，彼生癡邪見，不能當見我者，即此異生前四所攝。彼後二乘雖達諦理，未證法身，亦不能知佛色身等，非第一義，不名能見內外二身。

In the fifth section, having five verses, there are two parts: the first four are ordinary beings, and the last one is the noble one. The noble one fully sees the Buddha's transformation of the Dharma, so it is called "Dharma-seeing." Among those ordinary beings: the first has wrong conceptual discrimination of desire-attachment; the second has unstable divine eye; the third has unstable flesh eye; the fourth is obstructed both internally and externally and cannot see at all. The *Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā* says: "Whoever sees me by form, or seeks me by sound, that person generates foolish wrong views and cannot see me"—this is included in the former four ordinary beings. Although those of the two vehicles who come after have realized the truth, they have not yet realized the dharmakāya, nor can they know the Buddha's form body and the like, which are not the ultimate truth; thus they are not said to be able to see both inner and outer bodies.
