第十六段一頌釋中，初、釋初句。　「難可調伏」已上，釋難調；「雖強安處」下，釋輕躁，輕舉躁急，性數易故。　第二、「雖強安處內寂止」下，釋第二句。　第三、「諸聖弟子於如是」下，釋第三句。　第四、「彼由如是正定」以下，釋第四句。

In the explanation of the one verse of the sixteenth section: first, it explains the first line. Up to "hard to subdue" explains "hard to subdue"; from "although forcefully settled" onward explains "fickle and restless", because it is flighty and agitated, its nature frequently altering. Second, from "although forcefully settled in internal tranquility" onward explains the second line. Third, from "all noble disciples regarding such..." onward explains the third line. Fourth, from "he, by such right concentration..." onward explains the fourth line.
