論解斷，「大刀風」者，風如下下小之刀，能傷於人。　「有畢鉢羅風」者，法師云：人有此風，色如黑點。有云：畢鉢羅，即人食畢鉢羅也。此風辛楚，由如畢鉢。

In explaining severing, "great sword wind": the wind is like tiny small knives that can harm people. "There is the pippalī wind": the Dharma Master says people have this wind whose color is like black dots. Some say: *pippalī* is the *pippalī* that people eat; this wind is pungent and biting, just like pippalī.
