論外風中云「有毘濕婆風，有吠藍婆風」，毘濕婆風者，此云工巧風，能成萬物，舊云毘首羯磨風。吠藍婆，此云旋風，舊云旋嵐風也。

In discussing external winds, the treatise says, "there is the viśva wind, and there is the vairambha wind." The viśva wind is translated here as "artisan wind," capable of forming the myriad things; it was formerly called the Viśvakarman wind. Vairambha is translated here as "whirlwind"; it was formerly called the *xuanlan* wind.
