Where the treatise says, "A walking meditation path refers to [an area] corresponding in width and length to its measurement... down to corresponding bodily actions": In the Western regions, food contains much ghee and milk, and such food is difficult to digest. A place is made, of no fixed large or small measurement, whether exposed or sheltered, wherein one walks back and forth, intended as a place for digesting food through walking; the bodily actions performed while coming and going within this place are in accordance with the Dharma.
