論解虛空無邊處中云「所有於彼種種聚中差別想轉，謂飲、食、瓶、衣、垂、莊嚴具乃至山、林等想，於是一切不作意轉」等者，此據身在欲界，依虛空處遣色想時，於欲界色境亦遣，故說舍、園等非身生色界欲入虛空而有此想。

The treatise, explaining the sphere of infinite space, states: "All differential perceptions that occur in those various aggregates—namely, the perceptions of drink, food, vases, clothing, pendant adornments, up to mountains, forests, and so forth—one proceeds without paying attention to any of these," and so on. This is based on a body situated in the desire realm: when relying on the sphere of space to dispel perceptions of matter, one also dispels the material objects of the desire realm; therefore, it speaks of dwellings, gardens, and so on, not that a body born in the form realm wishing to enter space has these perceptions.
