9.50

論云「於前所舉能隨順修無常五行，已辨變異、滅壞二行。云何復由別離行故，觀無常性」者，卷初云由十種行悟入苦諦苦下四行中，前五種行中，悟入無常。此五行中，初、變異行即前所明八種因緣、十五種、十六種等變異是，第二、滅壞行即前所明比度有剎那生滅等是滅行，故言已辨二行。今第三、云何復由別離行故，觀無常性。

The treatise says: "Among the five aspects capable of conforming to the cultivation of impermanence mentioned before, the two aspects of alteration and destruction have already been explained. How does one further contemplate impermanence through the aspect of separation?" At the beginning of the fascicle it was said that one enters the truth of suffering through ten aspects; among the four aspects under suffering, in the first five aspects one enters impermanence. Among these five aspects, the first, the aspect of alteration, is the alterations explained previously through the eight conditions, the fifteen kinds, the sixteen kinds, and so forth; the second, the aspect of destruction, is the aspect of destruction explained previously through inferring that there is momentary arising and ceasing; thus it says, "the two aspects have already been explained." Now comes the third: "How does one further contemplate impermanence through the aspect of separation?"
