論云「終不求請外道為師，亦不於彼起福田想」者，第八、明於三寶所起決定信故，不信邪師。

Where the treatise says, "One never seeks out or invites non-Buddhists to be one's teacher, nor does one give rise to the notion of a field of merit toward them": this is the eighth, clarifying that because one gives rise to definitive faith toward the Three Jewels, one does not place faith in false teachers.
