問：煩惱障中品類非一，可言本斷，餘惑不生。所知障中唯有法執，殊無品類，何法為流？言根斷時，莖葉亦盡？

Question: In the affliction obstacle the categories are not one, so it can be said that when the root is severed, other delusions do not arise. In the cognitive obstacle there is only grasping at phenomena and no different categories at all; what dharma serves as the outflow, such that it is said that when the root is severed, the stems and leaves are also exhausted?
