2.557

述曰：此即第三、總結非也。然此無為四門分別：一、諸部增減；二、出體性；三、釋名；四、釋妨難。第一、諸部增減者，大眾部、一說部、說出世部、雞胤部立有九種：一、釋滅；二、非擇滅；三、虛空；四、空無邊處；五、識無邊處；六、無所有處；七、非想非非想處；八、緣起支性；九、聖道支性。

The Commentary states: This is the third section, which generally concludes that they are not [real]. However, these unconditioned phenomena are analyzed through four gates: first, increase and decrease among the various schools; second, identifying their substance; third, explaining their names; fourth, resolving difficulties. Regarding the first, increase and decrease among the various schools: the Mahāsāṃghika, Ekavyāvahārika, Lokottaravāda, and Gokulika schools establish nine kinds: 1. cessation through deliberation; 2. cessation not through deliberation; 3. space; 4. the sphere of infinite space; 5. the sphere of infinite consciousness; 6. the sphere of nothingness; 7. the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception; 8. the nature of the branches of dependent origination; 9. the nature of the branches of the noble path.
