The second master says: The citta and caitasikas associated with the mirror-like wisdom are also admitted to condition one another; this only excludes direct [conditioning], not indirect [conditioning]. Because the Buddha manifests their image upon the darśanabhāga, it is called all-inclusive wisdom. However, that each svasaṃvittibhāga shares the same object with the darśanabhāga of its associated phenomena is called having a common objective condition; it is not necessary that they must all be the darśanabhāga to have a common objective condition. Furthermore, excluding a direct objective condition does not mean conceding that it is an indirect objective condition; this is the nature of hetuvidyā (logic). Moreover, according to the Sthaviras and others, citta and the like cannot condition themselves; they only condition associated phenomena.
