述曰：難經部師無法爾種，此無漏道初不應生，無法持彼法爾種故，以唯新熏而為不正。設彼若言以世第一法為因緣生，不假法爾無漏種者。論主難言：

The Commentary states: This challenges the Sautrāntika master who denies innate seeds: this anāsrava path should not arise for the first time, because there is no phenomenon to sustain those innate seeds, and [the view] that seeds are only newly perfumed is incorrect. Suppose they say that it arises with the supreme worldly dharmas (laukikāgradharma) as its direct condition (hetu-pratyaya) and does not rely upon innate anāsrava seeds.
