述曰：第九五識唯無記恒業所感失。彼復若言：根雖是業種，此業未熟，是故五識非唯無記者。

The Commentary states: Ninth, the fault that the five consciousnesses would be exclusively indeterminate, constantly produced by karma. If they were to say further: Although the faculties are karmic seeds, this karma has not matured, and therefore the five consciousnesses are not exclusively indeterminate—
