述曰：諸法及識，能依、所依俱生滅故。非如彼常，故與僧佉所計異也。然《攝論》文更難於是，義意極同。然却結「故名阿賴耶」言。

The Commentary states: Dharmas and consciousness, as what depends and what is depended upon, both arise and cease. It is not permanent like their [pradhāna], and therefore it differs from what is posited by the Sāṃkhya. However, the text of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha is more difficult than this, though its underlying meaning is extremely close. Yet it turns back to conclude with the words 'therefore it is called the ālayavijñāna'.
