4.920

述曰：以是義故，二皆是依，始末為論故。此令異熟種以現行為依，以種子因緣依與現行俱有依為例，此並新舊合用之義。

[The Commentary states:] It is because of this meaning that both are supports, since it is discussed from beginning to end. This causes the ripening seed to take the active as its support, analogizing the seed's causal-condition support to the active's simultaneous support; this combines both new and innate aspects.
