5.983

述曰：地法無故。五十七說，彼唯有十一根，彼自言有喜無樂故。十一根者，謂信等五、二無漏、意、喜、捨，即苦名憂，義說為二；即喜名樂，二義說之也。

The Commentary states: Because the dharma of that stage does not exist. Chapter fifty-seven states that it has only eleven faculties, and it itself states that it has joy but no pleasure. The eleven faculties are: the five beginning with faith, two uncorrupted ones, mind, joy, and equanimity. Thus, identifying pain as sorrow, it is conceptually spoken of as two; identifying joy as pleasure, it is spoken of in two meanings.
