自下第二釋諸有情續生死難，前頌所明雖無外境，而諸分別皆緣所生，不離內識，外人問曰：

Next below is the second [verse], resolving the objection regarding sentient beings continuing in saṃsāra. What was clarified in the previous verse was that although there are no external objects, yet all discriminations arise from conditions and are not separated from internal consciousness.
