〈本地〉第五、三十八等說生起因，能生因攝，因緣為性，即唯五種，不說業支，何故此中亦說業有？次會此文。

The fifth and thirty-eighth fascicles of the 'Stage of Fundamentals' speak of the generating cause as subsumed under productive causes, having the nature of direct cause, being solely the five seeds, without speaking of the karma factor. Why then is karma-becoming also spoken of here? Next, this passage is reconciled.
