述曰：先證真如已，後得智中方能了達依他起性如幻事、陽炎八喻等也，非初見位一時雙見，第五地後及佛能爾，至下當知。

The Commentary states: Having first realized tathatā, in subsequent wisdom one is only then able to understand that the other-dependent nature is like the eight analogies of illusion, mirage, and so forth. It is not that at the time of initial seeing one sees both simultaneously; only after the fifth bhūmi and at the stage of Buddhahood is one able to do so, as will be known below.
