此中雖有七問，總三門分別。初三為一門，次二為一門，後二為一門。第二門中第二問，第三門中第二問。當唯識種子中無記性難，或為二門：初三為一門，後四為一門。

Although there are seven questions here, they are distinguished under three general gates: the first three form one gate, the next two form one gate, and the last two form one gate. The second question in the second gate, and the second question in the third gate, correspond to the difficulty concerning the indeterminate nature of seeds in Vijñapti-mātra. Alternatively, they can be made into two gates: the first three form one gate, and the latter four form one gate.
