2.121

解欲中第一師云：可厭事即無欲。其無漏心有無欲時，無漏第七緣因，第八亦應無欲故。此理非違。第二師若有求希資具、什物欲禾稼等，豈無欲耶。故並非正。

In explaining desire, the first master says: for repulsive things there is simply no desire. When an untainted mind has times without desire, because the untainted seventh cognizes the cause, the eighth should also lack desire. This principle does not conflict. The second master [says]: If there is seeking and longing for requisites, material goods, desire for standing crops, and the like, how could there be no desire? Therefore neither is correct.
