三、七分別，今以十門分別：一、出體；二、行相；三、釋名；四、廢立；五、八識所攝；六、有、無漏；七、三世所緣；八、與十散動十分別相攝；九、斷位；十、問答分別。尋、伺本末頌：

Third, the sevenfold discrimination is now distinguished by ten gates: first, revealing the essential nature; second, the active mental aspect; third, explaining the name; fourth, rejection and establishment; fifth, subsumption under the eight consciousnesses; sixth, whether contaminated or uncontaminated; seventh, the objects grasped in the three times; eighth, subsumption within the ten forms of distraction and ten discriminations; ninth, the stages of abandonment; tenth, discriminating questions and answers.
