十二支廢立，如《中邊》第一：「覆障及安立，獎導、攝、圓滿。三分別、受用，引起、並連縛。現前、苦、果故，唯此惱世間。三、二、七雜染，由虛妄分別。」

The rejection and establishment of the twelve limbs are as stated in Fascicle 1 of the Madhyāntavibhāga: / "Obscuring and establishing, / guiding, gathering, and completing, / threefold conceptualizing and experiencing, / inducing and binding together, / because of being present, suffering, and fruit, / only these afflict the world. / Three, two, and seven defilements / are due to false conceptualization."
