2.22

正破中有七：初、總非而起徵；二、顯相違而破世；三、定有無而興問；四、縱滅有而返詰；五、序相違而體一；六、逐一異而理乖；七、總結申難意。

Within the direct refutation there are seven parts: 1. General negation and initiating inquiry; 2. Showing contradiction to refute the time periods; 3. Determining existence and nonexistence to raise questions; 4. Hypothetically granting that cessation exists to cross-examine in return; 5. Setting forth contradiction so that substances are one; 6. Pursuing identity and difference so that reason is violated; 7. Concluding generally and stating the intent of the objection.
