又業及業道，應作四句分別，假實二業，及通生遊履，思准可知。然薩婆多唯以遊履名為業道，即意思是業，而不是道。大乘但業，即皆是道。

Furthermore, karma and karmapathas should be distinguished through four alternatives: both conventional and real karma, and whether it extends to causing [action] or serves as that through which one treads, which can be known through reflection. However, the Sarvāstivādins take only 'that through which one treads' to be a karmapatha; that is, volition is karma, but is not the path. For the Mahāyāna, whatever is karma is entirely the path.
