答：有四解：一云，不共，今據共許，簡趣生體；二云，間斷，聖道、滅定中不起故；三云，非業所感，謂是異熟具四義者，方是趣生故。《論》云：非異熟法，趣生雜亂。

Answer: There are four explanations: First, it is not shared; now [the text] relies on what is commonly accepted to screen out the entity of realms and destinies. Second, it is intermittent, because it does not arise during the noble path and the absorption of cessation. Third, it is not karma-induced; that is, only that which is vipāka and possesses the four criteria is [the entity of] realms and destinies. Hence the treatise says: "Phenomena that are not vipāka have confusion in realms and destinies."
