略解依中，《疏》云：「如何說依，不與七同緣下。」此前師難後師。若爾，如何下，後師難前師。答：兩人依別下，前師釋。問曰：下，後師難前師。彼質答曰：前師文。答：而復質，後師文。

In the brief explanation of the bases (āśraya), the commentary says: 'How can it be said that the basis does not share the same object with the seventh?' Below this, the earlier master refutes the later master. 'If so, how...' below: the later master refutes the earlier master. 'Answer: the bases of the two persons are distinct' below: the earlier master's explanation. 'Question says:' below: the later master refutes the earlier master. 'He interrogated and answered, saying:' is the text of the earlier master. 'Answered and interrogated again' is the text of the later master.
