「然諸心所非開導依」問：心所望王不開導，心所非所依，心王、心所既導生，何妨心所亦成依？解云：等無間緣義相引，心所可成緣，開導據勝能，非主不成開導依。

"However, the various mental factors are not opening and guiding supports." Question: Looking from the mental factors toward the sovereign, they do not open and guide, and mental factors are not supports; but since both the mental sovereign and mental factors guide arising, what prevents mental factors from also becoming supports? The explanation is: The meaning of equal-immediate condition is reciprocal leading, so mental factors can become conditions; opening and guiding is based on superior capacity, and not being the sovereign, they do not become opening and guiding supports.
