問：地獄惡業招，定成眼等令受苦。何不定成二形令受苦？答：形根受欲具無暇受，欲可無形。五根五識依，無根無識要成就。

Question: In hell, evil karma brings about [rebirth] and definitely accomplishes the eye and other [faculties] to cause the experience of suffering. Why does it not definitely accomplish the two gender organs to cause the experience of suffering? Answer: Gender faculties are instruments for experiencing desire; having no leisure to experience desire, they can lack gender organs. The five faculties are the bases of the five consciousnesses; without the faculties there are no consciousnesses, so they must be accomplished.
