6.129

若云，雖執非無明俱故。即難云：我執必由無明，方始得起，既無無明如何起執？故若有執，必有無明。准此難，前文言二執，必與無明俱故，彼師絕救。

If he says that although there is grasping it is not associated with ignorance, one then objects: Self-grasping must arise only through ignorance; since there is no ignorance, how could grasping arise? Therefore, if there is grasping, there must be ignorance. Following this objection, because the previous text states that the two graspings must be associated with ignorance, that master is left without any rescue.
