西明二解：一云，迷受生愚，此受是外境界增上果故。此論即云外增上果愚，故不相違；一云，迷境界生愚故。此論云迷外增上果愚，然境界是受增上果，故《瑜伽》即云：境界所生受果愚。

Ximing gives two explanations: One says that delusion arises from confusion about feeling, and this feeling is the dominant fruit of external objects; thus this treatise refers to it as 'delusion regarding external dominant fruits', so there is no contradiction. Another says that delusion arises from confusion about objects; thus this treatise refers to it as 'delusion regarding external dominant fruits', yet the object is the dominant fruit of feeling, and therefore the Yogācārabhūmi states: 'delusion regarding the fruit of feeling produced by objects'.
