又解：總作在先，上、下在後，《雜集》、此論俱先說故，《顯揚》十七云：上下觀十六種智修道作故。若爾，《瑜伽》如何通釋？

Another explanation: the general practice comes first, and the upper and lower come after, because both the Samuccaya and this treatise mention it first, and fascicle seventeen of the Prakaraṇa states: "The contemplation of the upper and lower is practiced in the path of cultivation through sixteen kinds of wisdom." If so, how is the Yogācāra harmonized and explained?
