《要集》云：有云兩解：一云第十滿心。若爾，前前地地皆對治後後地障。答：教說出十地即成佛故，故前位斷不同因位。一云出第十地滿心已後方是等覺，《仁王》、《本業》皆過十地說等覺故。後經時劫方入妙覺。《要集》云：後釋為勝。

The Yaoji says: Some offer two explanations: One says it is the culmination mind of the tenth [stage]. If so, each preceding stage serves as the antidote to the obstruction of each succeeding stage. Answer: Because the teaching says that upon exiting the tenth stage one becomes a Buddha, the abandonment in this preceding rank is unlike the causal ranks. Another says that only after exiting the culmination mind of the tenth stage is there equal awakening, because both the Renwang and the Benye speak of equal awakening as surpassing the ten stages. Afterward, passing through kalpas, one enters wonderful awakening. The Yaoji says: The latter explanation is superior.
