《瑜伽》二十一雖解聲聞與此意同，云：「附在所依有如是相，六處所攝，從無始世展轉傳來。」豈許小乘亦有六位？若云據不定說，定姓如何？又如何言六處所攝從無始世展轉傳來？豈六位種法爾差別？

Although Yogācārabhūmi 21 explains the śrāvaka with the same intent as this, saying, "Attached to the basis there are such characteristics, subsumed under the six āyatanas, handed down successively from beginningless time"—could it be accepted that the Hīnayāna also has these six stages? If one says this is spoken according to the undetermined [gotra], what about the determined gotra? Moreover, how could it say "subsumed under the six āyatanas, handed down successively from beginningless time"? Could the seeds of the six stages be naturally differentiated?
