問：未來應生，闕緣不起亦名已失，此定不生，得非擇故。今難：於此豈不相符？
Question: What should arise in the future but fails to arise due to the lack of conditions is also called 'already lost'; this definitely does not arise because it attains cessation not through deliberation (apratisaṃkhyānirodha). Now in this objection, does it not agree with the opponent's view?
