問：本成和合非五識緣，今意在法，五在有法乃成和合，非是意緣，何關五識？若爾，頌中何言五識？

Question: Originally, what was established was that what is composite is not the condition of the five consciousnesses; now the intent is in the predicate (dharma), and the five [consciousnesses] in the subject would then form the composite, not being the condition of the mind—how does this relate to the five consciousnesses? If so, why does the verse speak of the five consciousnesses?
