按無性論第三云：「復次，云何一切種子異熟果識為雜染因，復為出世能對治彼淨心種子？又出世心昔未曾習，故彼熏習決定應無；既無熏習，從何種生？」是故應答：「從最清淨法界等流正法聞熏習種子所生。」

According to Asvabhāva's commentary, fascicle 3: "Furthermore, how can the vipāka-result consciousness with all seeds be the cause of defilement and also be the seed of the pure mind that is supramundane and can counteract it? Moreover, since the supramundane mind was never practiced in the past, its perfuming definitively must not exist; since there is no perfuming, from what seed is it produced?" Therefore one should reply: "It is produced from the seeds of the perfuming through hearing the True Dharma, which is an outflow of the most pure dharmadhātu."
