釋曰：諸佛法界永離一切客塵障，故名「最清淨」；謂從法界所起教法，名為「等流」；無倒聽聞如是教法故，名「正聞」；依此正聞所起熏習，是名「熏習」；即此熏習能生出世無漏之心，名為「種子」。如是種子非阿賴耶，未曾得故。餘文可悉。

Explanation: Because the dharmadhātu of the Buddhas is permanently free from all adventitious defilement obstacles, it is called "most pure." The teaching arisen from the dharmadhātu is called "equal outflow." Listening to such teaching without error is called "proper hearing." The perfuming arisen based on this proper hearing is called "perfuming." This very perfuming can produce the supramundane anāsrava mind and is called "seed." Such seeds are not the ālaya-vijñāna, because they were never attained previously. The rest of the text is easy to understand.
