問：且如一樹有情共變，而一有情伐用之時，為用自變，為兼用他？若唯自者，餘人變者應存不已，樹何不見？若亦用他，何名唯識？

Question: Take, for example, a single tree transformed in common by sentient beings: when one sentient being cuts it down and uses it, does he use his own transformation, or does he also use others'? If only his own, what is transformed by other people should continue to exist; why is the tree no longer seen? If he also uses others', how is it vijñapti-mātra?
